Can I Book My Consultation Online?

Yes you can. Please book your consultation directly from our website using the "BOOK NOW" tab.

What Should I Bring To My Consultation?

We recommend you wear clothes you are comfortable working out in as we will perform several postural & fitness assessments, alongside relevant SMR techniques.

How Long Is Each Session?

Each session is 55 minutes long. This allows us five minutes to clean equipment used between each session.

Does Everyone Get A Fitness Assessment?

Yes. The fitness assessment takes place in the initial consultation & this is the first step in our process. This gives us a baseline for your program & allows us to give you the appropriate corrective exercises.

Is Nutritional Guidance Included With Training?

Absolutely! No hidden fees here, we believe well informed choices on nutrition & exercise are essential if we are going to achieve your fitness goals. We offer tailored meal plans delivered directly through our JAX app, this meal plan will be tailored to your specific fitness goals and dietary requirements.

Do I Need To Find Friends To Sign Up With To Do Small Group Personal Training?

Not at all! Small group training is a great way to make new friends and build healthy relationships as you embark on your fitness journey. 

Do You Offer Personal Training For Couples?

Yes of course!

We call this ‘tandem’ or ‘partner’ training. You can train with your significant other, your co-worker or your friend!

The best part is that using our app you can have completely separate workouts tailored to your goals & still be working out together!

Do You Provide Injury Rehabilitation Programs?

The Injury Rehabilitation Program refers to any exercise program that specifically addresses an injury or chronic pain as a result of an injury.

An effective Injury Rehabilitation program should include:

1. A detailed fitness assessment consisting of a postural screen, muscle imbalance testing, and a functional movement assessment.

2. A corrective exercise program that will specifically address your postural imbalances, core stability, alongside any other muscle imbalances that are observed during your assessment.

3. Strength training protocols that are progressively managed & tracked to ensure optimal results.

4. Support & guidance from a medical exercise specialist to ensure that all exercises are completed correctly & your program is effective.

By the end of the program your stability, mobility, strength & endurance should be back to what it was prior to injury.

What Is Your Goal?

Injury Rehabilitation

Our Active Rehabilitation program is for anyone who has a lingering injury or pain that they have been unable to recover from. Do you have a sore lower back? Tight hips & hamstrings? We are here to help. We will correct any imbalances you may have & build back your strength. All sessions are directed by our in house physio ensuring optimal recovery & may be covered by your extended physiotherapy health benefits. We offer direct billing through physiotherapy benefits as well as ICBC Claims.

Weight Loss

Weight loss can be a difficult & frustrating journey, so we are here to help you. Together we will create a personalized nutrition & exercise plan to suit your lifestyle. We will ensure this is achievable, sustainable & enjoyable. No more diets, no more hidden secrets!

Strength Training

Strength training is at the heart of what we do here at Postiga Fitness. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build muscle or improve your athletic performance, our certified strength & conditioning coach will ensure you reach your goal safely & effectively.

I am not an athletic person by any means, but as a recreational runner, I had a goal of completing a marathon. I have also never had a personal trainer before, but I wanted to make sure that I would stay injury-free as I increased my running volume. Jack worked with me for my whole marathon training cycle, and I felt very safe and confident in his expertise. He pushed me to develop my strength and endurance in our sessions, while being very mindful of any weaknesses or pain/overwork of my body as my training progressed. He was also very encouraging and patient, and always made sure that I would perform the workouts correctly. I kept seeing improvements in my strength and fitness, and ultimately, I did complete my marathon comfortably and injury-free, and I do credit so much of that to the program that Jack had developed for me.

Jack is a fantastic trainer!!! I've been training with Jack for three months. I can obviously feel myself getting stronger, fitter and healthier. Workout used to be a stressful thing for me, and I also had lower back pain. So it's difficult for me to exercise on a consistent basis. But after I started to train here, except for the weekly personal training, Jack also helps to plan the home gym workouts according to your requests, which frees me from overthinking what kind of workout I need to do. The fitness improvements also give me more motivation to keep going to the gym.

It's definitely a fun environment for people to get training. I feel more comfortable to train here than in huge gyms. You only need to focus on yourself.
